The Moon is in Pisces today, emphasizing our need to fantasize. We explore the riches of our own imagination, which can be a positive thing from the point of view of creative spirituality and artistic expression. But it can also be negatively experienced, as we fall into our own fantasies to escape the dreary or sometimes difficult world of our outer experiences. Additionally, Neptune--the key planet of Pisces--is being tensely squared now by the Sun, adding to the possibility of escapist tendencies.

*******************************************************

Nov 3, Monday The waxing Moon in Pisces conjuncts Mars (8 Pisces) marking the first “labor of Mars” in his new quest that began Aug 28, 2003. This is like the “road of tests and trials” as described by Joseph Campbell in The Hero With a Thousand Faces. The Labors of Hercules is one example of ancient myth referring to this type of process. Investigating one version of the first Labor of Hercules may inspire your own connection with this timing.

Some versions of the myth say that in the first Labor Hercules is sent to kill the Nemean Lion who was devouring the people of Corinth. The lion could not be killed by any arrows because his hide was impenetrable. Hercules eventually kills the lion with his bare hands and then wears the lion’s hide becoming invulnerable to any weapons of the day. One way to view this labor is to see that it symbolizes the encounter with the raging and devouring aspect of self that has forgotten its divinity. In this labor the hero, Hercules, wrestles with this aspect of self and in the process discovers his true self or divine self that is invulnerable. It is said Hera then honored the Lion by placing it as a constellation in the sky where it now shines to inspire us all to remember and know, as well as, to claim and to fully live our divinity.  http://www.winshop.com.au/annew/cons0.htm

It’s the first day of a new astrological month, with the Sun entering optimistic and inspirational Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the sign of the centaur--half man and half horse. The human archer is holding a bow with the arrow aimed at the sky. This time of year, we think about overcoming our animal instincts and aim our thoughts toward the heavenly and cosmic. Additionally, Mercury the mental planet is forming a tense and creative square aspect with philosophical Jupiter, placing emphasis on self-righteousness and clashing belief systems.

Uranus In Pisces - The Veil Is Lifting
By Govinda

Uranus will transit the sign of Pisces from March 10th, 2003 through
March 12th, 2011. Uranus brings energies that stimulate and support the
evolution of the Collective Consciousness and Humanity. It brings
inspiration and the unexpected, unusual, unconventional and radical
events that catalyze change. Uranian energies always act to stimulate
the evolution of consciousness.

Uranian experiences break through the boundaries of our conceptual
reality and transform our lives. These catalytic experiences often come
when you least expect them.
Pisces energies are deep feeling, compassionate, visionary, psychic,
mystical, spiritual and subtle. Pisces energies bring awareness of new
possibilities and are connected with our unconscious emotions. The
higher octave of Pisces is Divine Compassion, which streams from the
Divine Feminine energies of the Universe. When Humanity realizes and
expresses the Divine Feminine we will heal our world. Uranus in Pisces
will link the Collective Consciousness of Humanity with these sensitive,
feminine and mystical energies.

Over the past seven years Uranus has been in Aquarius, giving birth to
the Information Age. It brought forth a revolution in communication,
including global communication through the Internet, mobile phones and
digital technologies. We are deluged with data! While we were being
distracted with all the mental processing of knowledge, our unconscious,
emotional nature was ignored, and our emotions were repressed. Uranus in
Pisces increases the awareness of our unconscious realms. This is a
cycle of emerging feelings that will likely bring intense, unpredictable
waves of emotional upheavals in our lives! However, humans are also more
likely to develop meaningful, emotional and spiritual connections with
each other during Uranus in Pisces.

Uranus and Neptune in Mutual Reception
Probably the most significant and profound effect of the Uranus in
Pisces cycle will be the combined impact of this cycle with the Neptune
in Aquarius cycle. Uranus and Neptune are in a Mutual Reception a rare
combination where Uranus is in the sign (Pisces) that Neptune rules
while Neptune is simultaneously in the sign (Aquarius) that Uranus
rules. This creates an infinity figure 8 flow of cosmic energies from

Uranus to the constellation Pisces, to Neptune, to Aquarius and back to
Uranus. Since both of these planets give access to the mystical
dimensions, the spiritual impact on the collective consciousness of
humanity will be profound.

A Spiritual Revolution
The veil between the physical and spiritual dimension is dissolving.
Ordinary people will have direct, profound, personal spiritual
experiences and revelations. There will be major breakthroughs in
spirituality for Humanity.
Spirit will liberate itself from limited beliefs, causing many people to
reject and rebel against traditional religions. Spiritual organizations
and churches will be forced to change their doctrines in order to
satisfy the natural evolution of consciousness of their members.
Limiting doctrines that call for devotional dependence on the church and
religious leaders will be replaced by doctrines that honor the
individuals and their personal connections with God. Churches will
naturally evolve from doctrine orientation to individuals sharing their
personal spiritual experiences.
Virtually every human being on Earth will have mystical experiences
including empathic and clairvoyant awareness, telepathic communications,
past life flashbacks and sensing what others (humans and animals) are
feeling and thinking. These experiences will cause most humans confusion
and/or denial.

Some may feel as though they are losing their sanity, or, perhaps they
may believe that demonic forces possess them. As people become more
sensitive and open to their deep emotional and mystical energies, many
will turn to drugs and alcohol to dull their senses and escape from
their emotional pain. It is important to stay focused on positive and
ascending thoughts. It is good to practice formal meditation - one that
connects you with the Divine Source within you - daily. This will help
you to attract and create positive and beneficial experiences with the
spirit realms.

It is not good to be too analytical during this time. The logical mind
will not be able to comprehend these psychic experiences. Get together
with other like-minded, spiritual people and groups to get the support
you need. Also, spiritual revelations happen when two or more are
gathered in the name of Spiritual Truth and Love.

The boundaries between people, factions, religions and countries will
begin to dissolve. As people become increasingly aware of the feelings,
thoughts and emotions of others, the belief in separation from one
another will break down. This may feel uncomfortable and confusing at
first, but will naturally lead to a greater willingness to know and
accept one another, and, eventually, to sympathy and compassion for each
other.

As the psyche opens and unconscious emotions become conscious, many
people will seek wise counsel. This will benefit those who are having
intense emotions coming up and those having spiritual/psychic
experiences. Emotional and spiritual counselors and healers will be in
great demand!
Science Meets Spirituality

New drugs will be developed that will offer new hope for healing
previously incurable conditions, but the side affects may be
detrimental. Inspirations for new healing modalities will lead to the
development of powerful, effective, unconventional healing methods.
These will include subtle healing modalities involving light, sound,
breath, water, visualization, vibrational and spiritual healing.

Powerful spiritual healers will be acknowledged and become more accepted
by the masses.
Computer / Human Psyche Interfacings
Technologies will expand to include mind, body and computer infusion.
Computers will be able to receive and interpret mental impulses, and
redesign their patterns to improve the humans ability to create the
reality he/she truly desires. Virtual Reality programs for healing
mental and emotional disorders will be designed and made available to
the public. Some of these will be a kind of lucid dream therapy.

Instruments of communication with the spirit realms will be developed
and perfected. These may include computer and etheric realm interfacing.

Dream Wisdom
We may be inundated with spiritual truth and healing wisdom, including
images and messages from the spiritual realms through our dreams.
Solutions to major problems may come through messages from Divine guides
while we dream. It would be good to keep a dream journal by your bed and
write in it when these dreams occur.

New Art Forms
There will emerge new genres of music, poetry, photography and other
arts that refer to and illuminate the Oneness of all creation. Unique
new colors, textures, modalities and combinations will catalyze higher
awareness and transport those who experience these art forms to another
place and time. Motion pictures will undergo major transformations as a
result of advances in visual and sound reproduction technologies.

Pollution Solutions
Toxins in the water, food and air will likely become a greater threat to
health. New technologies for neutralizing pollution will be developed
and made available. New forms of inexpensive, sustainable, non-polluting
sources of energy will be invented and become available to the public.
The technologies, sciences and spiritual abilities of ancient and
advanced civilizations - e.g. Atlantis (a Uranian culture) and
Lemuria  (a Neptunian culture) - will be remembered and developed.
These instructions may come through psychic mediums, psychic scientists,
visionaries and Extra Terrestrials. Important and helpful individual and
mass communications from Extra Terrestrials are very likely. This
information will teach us ways to heal our environment and our
relationships with each other. They will teach us technologies for
cleaning up our oceans, lakes, streams, air and Earth.

Collective Thinking Creates Our World
Problems with air pollution and the ozone layer will cause major changes
in the weather. The melting of icecaps will likely cause the flooding of
many islands and coastal areas throughout the world. High winds,
hurricanes and tornados will become more frequent and show up in
unexpected places. The combined thoughts of the Collective Consciousness
of Humanity are creating our world reality, including the weather and
the earth changes. If we can collectively shift our thinking from
fear-based thinking to love, trust and faith in goodness, we can change
everything. It is our faith that bridges us with the power of Creation.

Ascension Is A Choice
It is our responsibility to consciously choose to evolve. To do this is
to live in integrity. Living in integrity is behaving as though we are
an integral part of All That Is. As we develop integrity, we support our
personal ascension and the ascension of the Collective Consciousness.
Ascension is To rise above limited ways of thinking and creating
reality.

When we choose praise, gratitude and love as our way of life, we ascend.
When we express unconditional love and compassion for others, we help
those people and ourselves as well.
In Conclusion

We must learn to work in harmony with our natural environment and with
each other. It is important that we use our Earths resources
responsibly, and relate to each other with compassion. Uranus and
Neptune (in mutual reception) are bringing us opportunities to discover
innovative and inspired solutions to our personal, environmental and
sociological crises. The infusion of spirit into matter brings hope. If
we will develop compassion in our hearts and use our minds to serve our
hearts, we can heal our world and live in harmony with each other and
Nature.

Om Shanti

Full Moon in Leo
Friday February 6, 2004
12:47am PST
16° 54'

Get ready for some fun and frolic: the Full Moon in Leo is upon us! Leo rules creative self-actualization, and the beauty and magnetism of personal vision. Leo's natives are usually standouts and are always memorable. Leo has a real sense of specialness and perceives all it creates as gifts bestowed upon the rest of us in the name of love and life. Well, honestly is there really any other reason to do much in this world? Leo is the artist, the charismatic leader, the Hollywood star, the sex symbol, the incurable romantic and the Don Juan/Juanita of the zodiac. Even for us commoners, something quite dramatic and amazingly beautiful is bound to happen under a Leo Full Moon.

This is the night to let go of worrying about the world for a few hours (I know it's hard right now) and give in to romanticism in all its forms. This is a Full Moon for making love, making art, and making merry. If you are looking for love, this is the night to take a chance and put yourself out there. Anything can happen under the influence of this most romantic of Moons. Watch out though, the Full Moon in Leo tends to bring out our vanity. Its energy is focused on self and self-pleasure, and may tempt us all to indulge in the non-necessities of life that make us feel beautiful and pampered. Leo is not very good at feeling guilty about life's luxuries. "I am worth it" belongs to Leo consciousness. Scheduling a massage, changing hairstyle, or buying a sexy new outfit may seem like the solution to all your problems on this Full Moon.

Unfortunately, frivolousness and extravagance can be a big hook on a Leo Full Moon. The idea that we can really feel better about ourselves by buying something or changing our appearance is fraught with danger, but it is an ever-present part of a consumerist society like ours. How can we counteract this tendency toward superficiality? One way is to plan an intimate evening with your partner; one that revolves around attending to deepening the experience of shared sensual pleasure in all its forms. Passion and desire are at all time high on this night, so use it to rekindle the flame of love in your relationship. Believe me, Valentine's Day has nothing on a Leo Full Moon. So pull out all the stops for the one you love.

If you prefer something more social, invite a bunch of friends to go out and have some fun seeing and being seen. Leo loves to be the center of attention, so get out there and shine! It's a great night to support the arts; so go see a play or hear some music. If you are up on that stage, be prepared for a very dramatic and inspiring performance. For those of you who made commitments to life changes on the New Moon in Aquarius, this is the time to put those plans into action. You get to begin your new life with the self-confidence of a Leo Full Moon opposing Neptune in Aquarius, which represents the radical energy to throw out the old and bring in the new! Chiron in Capricorn will give you added strength to achieve your goals; no matter how hard and long it takes. Remember that on a Full Moon, it helps to release your old behavior through ritual. Use the artist in you and create a representation of the changes you are making. Then burn it in a fire under the bright light of the Leo Full Moon. Remember to handle fire with care by containing it in a fireplace, cauldron or fire ring. After the fire has burned down completely (you might have to wait until morning) take the spent ash and spread it to the four winds, calling in the power of each direction to aid your commitment to change.

For those of you who are creative types, don't be surprised if you feel like being left alone in the studio all day and night. This is a Full Moon of great inspiration and should not be wasted. If you have been suffering with creative blocks, the Leo Full Moon bestows the energy to break free of inertia and get into action. If it doesn't, you might reconsider your project or direction. Maybe it's just not the right one This year the Leo Full Moon will be opposite the Neptune/Sun conjunction in Aquarius. Some think that Aquarius and Leo are diametrically opposed to one another. But I find their synergistic and interdependent relationship unique among the signs. Aquarius demands radical change, which cannot be accomplished without Leo's talents: unwavering self-belief in one's personal vision and true leadership. Leo demands creativity and caring, which requires the Aquarian rejection of personal glorification in favor of global identification. When balanced, the Leo/Aquarius polarity works hand in hand to further the evolution of human civilization. Corruption, greed and suffering only exist when these energies lack equilibrium. The Leo Full Moon assures us all that we have great personal power and we must learn to use it judiciously.

This is the Full Moon to try on the role of leader. If you have wanted to come out front with your great ideas, this is the time to try. The connection with ego identity is strong on this Full Moon. Leo understands how much power it can wield, and will never shy away from using this knowledge to accomplish even the most outrageous goals. Forget the stereotypical Leo: a partygoer dancing with a lampshade on their head. Instead, think of showing up with a serious commitment to who you are and not backing down for anything. Leo is total self-belief and it uses total commitment to gain success and glory. Think of Madonna (Sun in Leo); she is a powerful presence who insists upon owning her vision and maintaining total control of the product. As we say in Silicon Valley, "it's all about believing your own marketing." Yes, of course there is a dark side to power and glory. We all know that an inflated ego creates the right conditions for abuses of power. But power used wisely can be of great benefit to all. The beauty of Leo is how much it truly cares about others, and since this is a Full Moon, let's get into a celebratory space and bask in the light of Leo's positive qualities.

This is the most dramatic, elegant and fun Full Moon of the year. So get out and enjoy the fireworks!

Week Of Jan 29 1 - Feb 4 The Taurus First Quarter Moon (9 Taurus) was exact on Jan 28. Each night until Feb 6 the Moon waxes or increases in light appearing closer and closer to the Eastern Horizon at Sunset. On Feb 5 we have the fullest rise of the Leo Full Moon, with the Moon already waning by Moonrise on Feb 6 because the exact Full Moon is in the early morning hours of the 6th for most time zones.

Feb 3, Tuesday. Mars enters Taurus early this morning in most time zones transiting here until March 20. The current Mars quest for the Holy Grail within (see Jan 27, 04 archives) is now engaging the often illusive and mysterious realm of sacred pleasure, intimacy and beauty as a highly spiritual experience. Imagine if we lived in a world that honored beauty and pleasure as our highest sacred expression? Imagine living in a world that truly valued intimacy and enjoyment while also celebrating and receiving them as sacred expressions of life. Imagine living in a world where the sacred feminine and the sacred masculine are both equally honored for their unique differences and equally important contributions, providing a sound basis for balance and harmony. Then moving beyond imagination into the realm of decisive action, Mars indicates this is the time to act in ways that support these images manifesting into our reality.

Feb 4, Wednesday. We have reached the astrological cross-quarter (Sun at 15 Aquarius) or exact half way point between the December Solstice when the Sun crosses 0 Capricorn and the March Equinox when the Sun crosses O Aries. This is traditionally a time for continued cleansing and purifying of old energies while creating space for new ones. The Moon goes Void of Course (VOC) this morning until late this afternoon when it shifts into Leo around 4:50 pm Pacific Time. So today is a good day to relax, rejuvenate, renew and go with the flow preparing to engage the BIG Leo energies that will lead us to the Full Moon in Leo on Friday the 6th.

Week of Feb 5–11 This week features a Leo Full Moon symbolizing the fulfillment, or fruition, of the seeds planted at the New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds we may have coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. Once each year we have a Leo Full Moon bringing to light our divine essence, illuminating how consciously we love ourselves or not, and how confident and accepting we are of our divinity.

Feb 5, Thursday. Tonight marks the fullest rise of the Leo Full Moon reaching its exact Full Moon point after midnight tonight in most time zones. This is the best time to ceremonially engage the waxing full Moon rise and to energize the Leo mysteries. I am inspired to again share a quote that I feel brilliantly sums up the essence of the Leo Mysteries. It comes from Marianne Williamson's book A Return to Love. This quote is often mistakenly credited to Nelson Mandela’s 1994 inaugural speech, and the above link also provides links to his actual speeches. This quote really captures the essence of the Leo Mysteries and is a good one for energizing the Leo Full Moon and our own radiant and shining selves.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

http://www.skdesigns.com/internet/articles/quotes/williamson.html

It is also interesting to note that from now until about Feb 21 the North Node is moving across the astrological cross-quarter marked by the season of Beltane (15 Taurus) exactly aligning here on Feb 9. The South Node is always opposite the North Node (15 Scorpio) and is activating the astrological cross-quarter known as Samhain. The Nodes can only cross this area of the sky in this alignment about every 19 years and the last time this alignment took place was Jul 22, 1985. This alignment activates the tantric axis of life force empowerment that reminds us that it is our destiny to enjoy, savor and hold sacred this earthly experience. In the Dreamspell Mayan calendar today is a Galactic Activation Portal of the Yellow Planetary Star. (See Feb 22)

Feb 6, Friday. The Leo Full Moon was exact early this morning just after Midnight Pacific Time. (See Feb 5) Within this Full Moon window Mercury is entering Aquarius today where it remains until Feb 25 transiting this area of the sky in about 21 days. Mercury is our fastest moving planet completing one orbit around the Sun in 88 days. This speed lends itself to our understanding of Mercury’s link with the mind, how we think, perceive, reason, learn and communicate. Innovative, unique, revolutionary, unexpected, avant-garde, and unusual describe the tendencies of Mercury as it expresses through the Aquarius lens. This is a great time to think new and even revolutionary thoughts, entertain and express innovative ideas that radically shift personal and collective assemblage points out of out-moded belief systems and ways of communicating, creating space for connecting to the big picture or grand cosmic perspective that is constantly changing and evolving through the natural flow of life. These changes can feel scary and uncomfortable as we test out new territory but the anxiety we might feel lets us know we are stretching beyond the old limits into ever expanding possibilities.

Feb 7, Saturday. Moon moves into Virgo this afternoon, and will catch up to Jupiter in Virgo tomorrow morning. Tonight the waning but still nearly Full Moon is rising an hour and half after Sunset and about a half hour before Jupiter. Tomorrow night Jupiter will rises about two hours after Sunset and about a half hour before the Moon. Moon and Jupiter are activating the ancient mysteries concerning the patterning of life that includes the natural cycles and rhythms of Earth and Sky. Spider Woman weaves the web of time and space teaching us (if we are listening) when, where and how to weave new webs when the old ones no longer serve. Spider woman knows if the web is properly woven it will draw to her all she needs, all that supports and sustains her life when she is patient and trusting. If our current web is not bringing us what we need, it may be time to relocate and reweave the web, because our web, or foundation, is intended to support the reality of who we believe ourselves to be.

Poravnava planetov
Ponedeljek, 08. marec 2004

General Daily Overview
The Moon enters futuristic Aquarius today at 6:10 am EST, signaling a break from the heavy energy of the past few days. We are still feeling serious, but things are looking up, for today we have a magical trine between lovely Venus and optimistic Jupiter, symbolizing the fulfillment of our sensual desires. No matter what our individual situations, we feel better now. We are encouraged by the possibilities. It feels like love is in the air. The danger of this aspect is that we can be so optimistic that we don't see the bad news right in front of us.

Full Moon in Aries
Tuesday, September 28, 2004
6:09am PDT
5º 45'

The Aries Full Moon is the best Moon to put some concrete action behind those thoughts of beginning anew! This is the best time to take a deep breath and go for those fresh starts and leaps of faith. You really can create a whole new life! For those of you (I know there are many) who took advantage of the Virgo New Moon to work on health, healing, and social issues, this is the night to joyfully release the intentions you have been building over the last two weeks and change your life for the better.

Since Aries is a fire sign, releasing is best done through burning, and fire ritual is best done with safety in mind; so make sure to use a cauldron, indoor fireplace or a stone fire circle at the beach to do this ritual. On an Aries Full Moon your intention is best released with these qualities in mind: spontaneity, wonderment, curiosity, adventurousness and innocence. There are few times in an adult life when we can begin anew without dragging along our past pain, fear and worries. But this is the Full Moon to strive for releasing your intention with childlike hopefulness and inner faith. Know that what comes from your strong intention, will be evolutionary, supportive and…. well, a big adventure! So smile and let it fly!

For those of you who just want to have some fun, this Full Moon of the child is best celebrated with playfulness and adventure. With Jupiter, Mars and Sun conjunct in Libra, enjoying the company of others should be a snap. This is not a night for heaviness. I'm thinking treasure hunt or a game of intrigue and mystery. Mercury in Virgo is always up for puzzle solving of any kind; the harder the better. But remember to be together in lightness and joy, and open up to the healing magic of play.

On a more serious note, Aries represents our instinctual nature and the animal within us. Though it is true that most animals fight and kill for food and territory, we humans have the intelligence to garner our resources without the fight. This year, the instinctual wildness and childishness of a Full Moon in Aries is more than compensated for by the conjunction of planets opposing it in Libra, Chiron (wounding) in Capricorn (values and goals) and Saturn (responsibility) in Cancer (compassion and love) will interject a modicum of seriousness about our seeming inability to use our power compassionately.

While it is true that we have been newly re-awakened to the brutality of our species, we have also been reminded of how much caring and love human beings are capable of in difficult times. This said, like last year, our government is still at war as the Moon waxes to its fullness in Aries, the warrior. 20,000 dead Iraqis is abhorrent and we all share in the shame of America's impetuous, childish, aggressions. Though we failed to get our leaders to reject the way of war, we must hold to our convictions more stongly than ever, continue to work for peace, and this year back up that sentiment with a vote.

The raw sexual energy of this Full Moon will definitely be romanticized by a Venus in Leo and tempered by serious Saturn in Cancer and the all-loving conjunction of planets in Libra. This is the Full Moon to connect to the innocent, nonjudgmental kind of love that Libra and Cancer like best. The Aries Full Moon is the time to remember that we are born knowing only love and to celebrate and share this precious gift. Though our lives seem to seesaw between achievement and loss, love and pain, there is a childlike innocence that still lives within us all. This tender hopefulness continually rekindles our spirit with an unwavering belief in human goodness and love and enables us to rise up from failure. So here's to the successful completion of your new beginnings!

New Moon in Capricorn
Monday, January 10, 2005

20º 21'

Since much of the time, Capricorn gets a bad rap in astrology, let's begin by celebrating its wonderful qualities. Got goals? Got focus? Got Capricorn. Got drive? Got stamina? Got accomplishment? Got Capricorn. Okay we all know about these qualities, but here's a list you might not automatically come up with. Got loyalty, courage, commitment, a huge heart, deep caring for others, a desire to teach, uplift and inspire? Now you've got the totality of Capricorn.

This is the most powerful New Moon for setting goals, initiating projects, and making a serious commitment to achievement. For those of you who have trouble with follow-through, this is the New Moon to gain focus and work on building real stamina. Believe me, with concerted focus and effort, you might find you are a whole lot stronger and more responsible than you think! In this vein, let's indulge a Saturnian/Capricornian reality check. Those of us, who do not live in the tsunami-affected areas of Asia, are alive. We have not lost our entire village, our whole family, and everything we have worked for our whole life has not been buried in mud or swept out to sea. Most of you reading this have shelter, food, family, and a world of opportunity waiting outside your doorstep. So get a grip, stop complaining, and recognize how fortunate we are to be alive, intact, and capable of contributing fully to our world.

Ever wonder why Capricorn's animal symbol is the mountain goat? I once saw a group of mountain goats on a climb in the Everest region of Nepal. The way up was steep, but the summit promised a wonderful view of Tibet. I watched a group of goats (already high above me) calmly and fearlessly walk an almost vertical hillside that I was doing my best to avoid. They seemed to function from a belief that no path is too steep, no height too lofty to attain, there is nothing to fear. That was their bottom line. Capricorn's incredible ability to achieve comes from hanging in for long haul and not giving up, even if the going gets tough… and neither should you! Again, think about the incredible effort it will take (both psychologically and financially) to rebuild the lives of the millions of people who have been impacted by the tsunami. This Herculean effort over a long period of time has Capricorn written all over it.

Most astrologers associate Saturn, Capricorn's ruler, with fear. The day I heard about the tsunami I could not comprehend the intense fear that must have accompanied the wall of water which instantly took so many lives. And conversely, I contemplated the things I fear in my life and wondered at their power, which suddenly seemed so insignificant in the face of so much destruction. However, in right measure, fear can be a great motivator. Capricorn is the sign which best epitomizes the ability to recognize fear for what it is, move through it, and attain success because of it, not in spite of it. Use this New Moon ritual to acknowledge your fears, and then do some work on reframing your relationship to fear. Make fear a helpmate. Think of it as a big adrenaline rush or just a big push to get you moving on the road to success. In many ways, with respect to earthly experience, Capricorn is the most evolved of the twelve signs. Where Aquarius and Pisces prefer idealistic realms and transcendence, Capricorn insists on nothing less than the "full body" experience of life. No excuses: JUST DO IT!

Here is another secret of Capricorn achievement: work with what you got and don't get lost in dreams of what you wish you had.
I know many of you in Silicon Valley (and probably lots of other places) who still have your jobs are probably doing the work of three, and struggling to get it done with a fewer resources. This would be a great day to gather your staff for a working lunch. With Venus (relating) and Mercury (communicating) joining the Sun, Moon, and Chiron in Capricorn you could make this lunch more than a pep rally; get real and talk openly about the team's goals and how to make each person in the group successful. Write down what actions you must take, in what order, to make the team's goals a reality. Then commit to following these steps no matter how long it takes, no matter how hard it may be. Patience, fortitude, and commitment, these are the winning strategies of Capricorn.

If you are among the many who are still unemployed in this country, you too can benefit from creating a New Moon ritual to get back to work. Capricorn defines itself by the work it does, and the truth is we all feel better when we are self-sufficient. Capricorn is a realist and that is the key to making this kind of ritual really work. Don't ask for that dream job you'll never get. Focus your ritual on obtaining work you can get now, that will be the right next step to making that dream job a reality in your future.

It is true that Capricorn can be risk-averse, due to its Saturnian attachment to security and traditional methods. It is especially true on this New Moon, which is conjunct Chiron (old wounds) in Capricorn (about success) and in opposition to Saturn (Capricorn's ruler) in Cancer (grounding our creativity in reality). Our culture has a funny relationship with creativity and success. Many of us are told that we can't make a living doing what we love. The truth is we can, if we are willing to make the sacrifices that are necessary to follow a path that is less chosen. Success in creative or spiritual endeavors is achieved by those who believe in themselves and work hard at what they love every day. Though our media makes it seem like there are many overnight success stories, when you look deeper into these lives, there is always a long-held dream and a lot of hard work. So let go of the need for instant gratification and overnight success. There is no free lunch and no easy way out. Capricorn is the sign that understands all too well that real success happens though sustained effort.

The Capricorn Moon/Sun/Chiron conjunction along with Venus (finances) in Capricorn (budgeting) is good for one other thing: if you have trouble with over-spending and staying on a budget, this is the New Moon to work hard on changing that pattern of behavior. Capricorn spends conservatively, judiciously and preferably not at all, which is impossible since we all need a roof over our head and food. So what kind of a ritual would be good for this? A ritual of awareness. Sit down and think carefully about what happens to your brain when you are shopping. Do you zone out when you pay for things? If you do, this is the New Moon to commit yourself to total awareness while shopping and buying. Ask yourself do I really need this? What other ways could I use this money I am about to spend? Can I put this money away for my future instead of spending it now? You can easily become wealthier by spending mindfully. Think of it as the Zen of buying or not buying! And while we are on the subject of spending, if you haven't already donated to the tsunami relief efforts, let me suggest a donation to Oxfam America the lead aid organization involved in repairing and rebuilding damaged water systems in the affected areas.

A quick reminder about Saturn/Capricorn, the ruler of depression. Many of you live in areas of the world where the sun does not shine much at this time of year, or rain is an everyday occurrence. Depression is serious and can impact every aspect of a person's life. Though these days there is much less stigma associated with mental health disabilities, still many people (especially men) do not reach out to get help for depression or Seasonal Affective Disorder. This is the New Moon to recognize depression and get up the courage to seek help.
Depression can be the biggest obstacle to setting and achieving goals

Finally, I would ask each of you to contemplate the symbolism of mass destruction from a wall of water occurring on a Full Moon in Cancer, the planet and sign that rule the Archetypal Feminine. It is heartbreaking to see those who have so little, lose so much; for Nature is indiscriminate in Her fury. Think of this as a reminder that we must love and care for each other, not just in times of crisis, but for all time. Our greed, violence and alienation have become a way of life, but in reality it is a sure path to death. We must wake up, or the next six years of Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius will continue to bring destruction through water and disease, rather than enlightenment through realization of transcendental consciousness. This is the New Moon to commit yourself to becoming responsible for your own enlightenment and the enlightenment of all other sentient beings on this planet. Only Capricorn has the stamina to maintain this kind of commitment.

So don't waste this very productive New Moon. Here's to your success!

"January 14th Vedic Winter Solstice"

Plus:

Retrogration of Saturn into Gemini on 13th Jan

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

January 14th Vedic Winter Solstice

"January 14th marks the dawn of time in heaven. This signifies the return of light to the earth plane after 6 months of darkness. On this day the Sun moves into Capricorn. This is the most auspicious time to start a new business, relationship or any other activity. Things done during this time will have divine support.

The energy starts shifting on the 13th through the 15th. All of these days have tremendous prosperity energy. Indra, the king of heaven, rejoices during this time of abundance, fun, and luxury and happiness. To mark this occasion and to welcome the Sun into Capricorn we will do a special homa (fire ritual) for the Sun on Jan 14th being the most auspicious day.

The Sun governs ones health both physical and mental, self-esteem, proper functioning of the heart and the vision.

Who should do this homa? It is recommended that everyone participate in the homa. The homa will be particularly good for those born with the following Ascendants and/or Sun Signs: Leo, Gemini, Cancer, Capricorn, Aquarius. People born with the above Zodiacs as their moon sign also will be benefited by this."

About Fire Rituals

The strongest remedy, which can be used to alleviate karmic difficulty, is the performance of a fire ritual also known as a homa or yagna. The fire ritual is a Vedic ceremony, which is performed at a dedicated temple. During the ritual Brahmin priests continuously chant specific astrological mantras (sounds). The priests make offerings, such as rice or clarified butter, to invoke planetary deities or the gods, so that grace and intervention may be given to the person requesting the remedy. A day or two after the remedy a person may experience a relief from a negative karma, which often feels like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders. Due to this relief a person may also feel more energetic. Although it is recommended that the person be at the ceremony, fire rituals are often performed in abstentia.

We offer a group Homa for US $25. Click here  to order.

Saturn's Quick and Frantic Transit

Om Sanecharaya Namaha!
"Saturn is the single most important planet in governing an individual's life. He is the Lord of life or destiny. Every planet is being ruled or controlled by a God. In Saturn's case it is Siva who is his Lord. Saturn can make or mar one's life. He is the most dreaded planet because he can completely ruin a person's life and cause unbearable pain and suffering. Nevertheless when he is good he can make one a king.

This current transit of Saturn on September 5th into Cancer has great importance for world events.

For now I want every Astroved member to propitiate Saturn during his transit. In order to enable everyone to participate in the Grand Homa for Saturn we are organizing a group homa at the ashram in India."

Sri Siva speaks on Saturn

“Saturn is the most dreaded planet. He can give utmost suffering and ultimately ruin the person if he is ill placed in someone’s horoscope. Vedic astrology says that Saturn is not merely a planet or planetary being. Saturn is given the status of Lord Shiva himself. He is called Sanishwara in Sanskrit. According to mythology, the planetary being Saturn meditated at the banks of the Ganges in Benares for a long, long time. Lord Shiva appeared before him and offered him a boon. Saturn told Shiva that he should be as powerful as the Lord himself. The boon was granted. This is how Saturn became as powerful as Shiva.

Another mythological anecdote maintains that Saturn’s eyes are kept blindfolded. The idea here is to keep Saturn from looking at people. His very sight is supposed to bring misfortune, pain, and difficulties. Nevertheless, one should know that Saturn brings these difficulties only to chastise the human beings.

Being elevated to the level of God himself, Saturn can also confer great blessings on individuals. On January 13th 2005 Saturn retrogrades into Gemini from Cancer. It would sojourn in Gemini until April 8th and once again enters Cancer on May 26th 2005. The retrogration of Saturn into Gemini would give raise to confusions among the Heads of the states and instability in the Government. This would give raise to poverty among people, drought, starvation and unexpected losses.

For now I want every Astroved member to propitiate Saturn during his transit. In order to enable everyone to participate in the Grand Homa for Saturn we are organizing a group homa at the ashram in India on January 15th 2005.

The retrogration of Saturn would bring benefic effects to Aries, Leo and Capricorn.

The Moon signs that would be affected by the Saturn’s retrogration are Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces.

The Moons signs that would enjoy neutral effects are Virgo, Libra and Aquarius.

We are dividing the Homas into 3 groups as favorable, unfavorable and neutral.

Jan 13, Thursday. Venus and Mercury are low on the Eastern Horizon and are exactly conjunct by sign and degree and are visible about .3 degrees apart. All five visible planets are still within 160 degrees. Retrograde Saturn (24 Cancer) reaches opposition to the Sun rising as it sets and is visible all night. When Saturn opposes the Sun it is always retrograde and always closest to the Earth and therefore brightest in appearance. This is the point in Saturn’s cycle where it is most illuminated and the greatest insights and inspiration are possible. A question worth asking is: How can we create new structures of home and family based in love and cooperation that nurtures and supports us all? http://www.shamanicastrology.com/celestial_timings.htm

http://gwynnedeva.com/lanas.htm
Wednesday the 12th is a harmonious aspect between Venus and Uranus that can symbolize concerted efforts to solidify, manifest and realize long-held dreams, ideals and visions that involve relationships, finances and values can have healthy tangible results. The ability to craft traditional as well as innovative approaches creates a hybrid model of breakthroughs in these areas. New friendships begun now seem to do well over the long run.

Thursday the 13th is a harmonious contact involving Mercury with Uranus that can be excellent for communications breakthroughs, innovative ideas, epiphanies, sudden flashes of intuition and strong intellectual stimulation. Medical, technological, engineering and/or scientific inventions help humanity to improve life.

This same Thursday is the opposition of the Sun with Saturn that symbolizes the definition and clarification period of these two planets’ conjunction "seeding period" from last July 8, 2004. Some individuals experience a tug and pull associated with career matters versus family matters. Another area of importance will involve budgetary concerns.

Finally on this Thursday is the conjunction of Mercury with Venus that symbolizes harmonious communications, sales that benefit the bottom line as well as treasured information. This is the first conjunction of a total of four these two planets have with one another during the 2005-year. The other dates are March 29, 2005, June 27, 2005 and July 9, 2005.

Saturday the 15th is a harmonious alignment of Mars with Neptune that is excellent for the protection, defense and initiatives that can be launched to help charitable causes, political coalitions and legislative agenda. Active participation for prayer, meditation, contemplation, visualization and affirmation is highlighted. I consider this alignment as a "Spiritual Warrior" energy.

This same Saturday is the bi-monthly declinational shift of the Moon that symbolizes changes with meteorological, seismic and volcanic activities. Group consciousness, team approaches, priorities and prime objectives are important to cultivate. Motivational inspiration is brought to the forefront.

Sunday the 16th is the annual conjunction of the Sun with Chiron that symbolizes the "seeding" period of these two celestial bodies. Strong identification with all healing paradigms such as massage therapy, hydrotherapy, chiropractic, aromatherapy as well as reiki is beneficial. The Sun will oppose Chiron on July 23, 2005 so whatever is "seeded" now in January can be fully define and clarified later in July. The purging of criticism, resentments, remorse, bitterness as well as regrets from the past will facilitate balance and ease in one’s life.

Full Moon in Leo
Tuesday, January 25, 2005
2:32am PST
5° 33'

This year, the normally fun and playful Full Moon in Leo is surrounded by a whole lot of planets in selfless and serious signs! We have a Venus/Mercury/Chiron conjunction in ever serious Capricorn opposing Saturn in Cancer, reminding us that just two weeks ago we were hard at work setting goals and now is not the time to slack off and play. Additionally, the Leo Full Moon is inconjunct Uranus in Pisces, the ever-present reminder of our own personal insignificance when compared with the power of nature (the tsunami). So though Leo rules creative self-actualization, personal power, and the beauty and magnetism of personal vision, there is so much to be concerned about in our world that thinking about our own desires and/or having a grand old time may not seem like such a great idea. However, whether it is due to Leo's incredibly big need to be seen and loved, or its own healthy dose of narcissism, the Leo Full Moon won't give up without a real fight for our attention.

Leo natives are usually standouts and are always memorable.

Though Capricorn is not the most expansive placement for Venus, love can manifest itself in your life even if it takes a little extra effort. The idea that we can really feel better about ourselves by buying something or changing our appearance is fraught with danger, and is unfortunately is a large part of the belief system of a consumerist society.

Maybe even plan an event that can raise money for Tsunami victims. This is a great way to bring together fun and a good cause.

For those of you who made commitments to goals on the New Moon in Capricorn, this is the time to put those plans into action. You get to begin your new life with the self-confidence of a Leo Full Moon opposing Sun in Aquarius, which represents the radical energy to throw out the old self and bring in the new!

For those of you who are creative types, don't be surprised if you feel like being left alone in the studio all day and night, especially with Venus and Mercury in committed, hardworking Capricorn. This is a Full Moon of great inspiration and should not be wasted. If you have been suffering with creative blocks, the Leo Full Moon bestows the energy to break free of inertia and get into action. If it doesn't, you might reconsider your project or direction. Maybe it's just not the right one.

This year the Leo Full Moon will be opposite Neptune and Sun in Aquarius. If you have wanted to come out front with your great ideas, this is the time to try (especially with the conjunction of planets in Capricorn screaming, "JUST DO IT!") The connection with ego identity is strong on this Full Moon.

Saturn in Retrograde

Saturn in Retrograde:
Impending World Disaster

Everyone in astrology knows that Saturn is the single most powerful planet. He can make or mar a person. Once a king by the name Nala lost his kingdom and was reduced to a chef because of the devastating influence of Saturn.

Saturn does not even spare Gods. It is said that during Saturn’s time Ganesha’s human head was cut off by Siva. Siva himself started to beg during Saturn’s period. One may ask how Siva, the Almighty, can be affected by Saturn. It is true that Siva is the ultimate goal of all the cosmos. Nevertheless, he appointed Saturn to do a certain job and that is to bring people to justice (dharma) through intense hardship and suffering. Siva Himself underwent the humiliation of a beggar just to teach a lesson to the human beings and also to demonstrate the power of Saturn.

Saturn is the slowest moving planet. It takes 30 years for him to complete one cycle of his revolution through the 12 zodiacs. He spends roughly about 2 ½ years in each sign.

Currently Saturn has made some erratic movements. I wrote about this movement about 20 months ago pointing out the impact of the movement on the US elections. I predicted that the accelerated movement of Saturn from Gemini into Cancer would be extremely favorable for Bush to become the president again. If Saturn had not made this movement, Bush would have lost the election.

Now Saturn has moved back into Gemini. He is going to be there in Gemini until May 25th (26th in India). From now until May 25/26th Saturn will bring in tremendous amount of destruction around the world. This destruction will invoke natural calamities as well as calamities caused by weapons of mass destruction. It is as if God is speaking through Saturn. It is indeed true that Saturn is God. It is Lord Siva who is the overlord for Saturn. In the midst of destruction and suffering there will be some comfort. Although the comfort will not be immediate. It is as if the whole world is being rid of negativity. The whole world is going through a surgical process. Saturn is conducting the massive surgical process of removing tumors.

During this upcoming 6 months period, Saturn will pull down the kings, presidents and prime ministers who came to power through unlawful means. He will also punish rich people who made money through exploitation. Many multi-billion dollar corporations exercising monopolies will be the worst hit. Saturn will get into the minds of these evil people and force them to become righteous by inflecting pain and suffering. Everyone will fear Saturn. In order to avoid the danger, it is important that mass prayer should be directed towards Saturn and his overlord Siva.

Where is the proof that Saturn is going to do all these things? The proof is coming. All devastation will happen on Saturdays or during the Saturn hora. He will also destroy on Wednesdays because of the fact that he is in Gemini, which is the zodiac ruled by Mercury.

People who are Gemini-born whether they have moon in Gemini or Gemini ascendant will undergo a clean up process. During this time the Gemini people will come into direct contact with God; they will end their devious, mercurial diplomacy.

Saturn is also the Lord of life. He gives life and takes it away as well. In other words he crosses both birth and death in order to give experience to human souls to go through their karma. Now that Saturn is in his destructive mode he will cause more death. The death will be mysterious. It could be engineered through natural disasters or through weapons. People will also die mysteriously for no reason through suffocation and heart attacks. Conversely, people will also be saved from massive heart attacks through the mysterious power of Saturn to sustain life.

Everything will happen in the blink of an eye thereby demonstrating divine power versus human power. Human beings have been demanding through their ignorance proof of the existence of God. God does not need any proof, but the human ego has gone out of control. As I write this now, God will make everyone to kneel down and pray for life. This is indeed the hour of God.

- - Siva Baba.

LUNA v 2005

January 25, 5:32 a.m. EST -- The Full Wolf Moon. Amid the zero cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. It was also known as the Old Moon or the Moon After Yule. In some tribes this was the Full Snow Moon; most applied that name to the next moon.

February 23, 11:54 p.m. EST -- The Full Snow Moon. Usually the heaviest snows fall in this month. Hunting becomes very difficult, and hence to some tribes this was the Full Hunger Moon.

March 25, 3:58 p.m. EST -- The Full Worm Moon. In this month the ground softens and the earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signals the end of winter, or the Full Crust Moon because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. This is also the Paschal Full Moon; the first full Moon of the spring season. The first Sunday following the Paschal Moon is Easter Sunday, which indeed will be observed two days later on Sunday, March 27.

April 24, 6:06 a.m. EDT -- The Full Pink Moon. The grass pink or wild ground phlox is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring. Other names were the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and -- among coastal tribes -- the Full Fish Moon, when the shad came upstream to spawn.

May 23, 4:18 p.m. EDT -- The Full Flower Moon. Flowers are abundant everywhere. It was also known as the Full Corn Planting Moon or the Milk Moon.

June 22, 12:14 a.m. EDT -- The Full Strawberry Moon. Known to every Algonquin tribe. Europeans called it the Rose Moon.

July 21, 7:00 a.m. EDT -- The Full Buck Moon, when the new antlers of buck deer push out from their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, thunderstorms being now most frequent. Sometimes also called the Full Hay Moon. The Moon will also be at perigee later this day, at 4:00 p.m., at a distance of 221,928 mi./357,158 km miles from Earth. Very high ocean tides can be expected from the coincidence of perigee with full Moon.

August 19, 1:53 p.m. EDT -- The Full Sturgeon Moon, when this large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water like Lake Champlain is most readily caught. A few tribes knew it as the Full Red Moon because the moon rises looking reddish through sultry haze, or the Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon.

September 17, 10:01 p.m. EDT -- The Full Harvest Moon. Traditionally, this designation goes to the Full Moon that occurs closest to the Autumnal (Fall) Equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but every third year it occurs in October. At the peak of the harvest, farmers can work into the night by the light of this moon. Usually the full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the Moon seems to rise at nearly the same time each night: just 25 to 30 minutes later across the U.S., and only 10 to 20 minutes later for much of Canada and Europe. Corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice -- the chief Indian staples -- are now ready for gathering.

October 17, 8:14 a.m. EDT -- The Full Hunter’s Moon. With the leaves falling and the deer fattened, it is time to hunt. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can ride over the stubble, and can more easily see the fox, also other animals, which have come out to glean and can be caught for a thanksgiving banquet after the harvest. A very minor (6.8% coverage) partial eclipse of the Moon will take place between 7:34 and 8:32 a.m. EDT and will be visible from western and central sections of North America.

November 15, 7:58 p.m. EST -- The Full Beaver Moon. Time to set beaver traps before the swamps freeze to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Beaver Full Moon come from the fact that the beavers are now active in their preparation for winter. Also called the Frosty Moon.

December 15, 11:15 a.m. EST -- The Full Cold Moon; among some tribes, the Full Long Nights Moon. In this month the winter cold fastens its grip, and the nights are at their longest and darkest. Also sometimes called the Moon before Yule (Yule is Christmas, and this time the Moon is only just before it). The term Long Night Moon is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long and the Moon is above the horizon a long time. The midwinter full Moon takes a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite to the low Sun.

Feb 2005 Celestial Timings Introduction
By Carolyn Brent

Excerpts from Return Of The Bird Tribes by Ken Carey
…the better part of the Bird Tribes have not been incarnate in human form during historical times,
though always we were there in nature and in the spirit worlds around you.
Some twenty-five centuries ago most of us departed, to wait for the return of your intelligence
and the slow turning of the sacred cycles that would favor your awakening.
We are returning now, appearing like the first stars at the predawn clearing of a storm.
Into your consciousness we come, appearing subtly at first, a whisper among your dreams.
But steadily our presence grows, soon to shine as distinctly as the sun of morning.
We come now with a message that will prove vital to you in these last years of history’s night.
We call to you, human ones, beings of light. Rise up from your tradition-bound past
and become our creative partners in the continuing unfoldment of wonder….

We are the Bird Tribes. And we are returning. We are here to teach you how to fly….

White Buffalo Calf Woman speaks…
“My tribe is the Fire Bird…I am one of the Bird People,
whose tribe once covered this Island of the Turtle.
Do you remember the Winged Ones of heaven?
The Fire Birds? The Thunder Tribes?
How long has it been since you called to us in your councils?…
Your people have forgotten…that which is more precious than water.
You have forgotten your connection with Great Spirit.
I have come…with a fire from heaven to kindle again your memory
of what has been and to strengthen you for the times to come.

The above quotes found me within two days of one of those “was that really a dream?” type dreams where I was specifically told I had returned to live with the Bird People. This happened in the early morning hours of the Taurus New Moon rare alignment with Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn on May 4, 2000. I didn’t know this book existed until two days later. There are many more synchronistic and magical pieces to this story weaving together people places and events including the White Buffalo and prophecies concerning their return and how that is linked to the Return of the Bird Tribes. http://www.sacredwhitebuffalo.org/index.html In true Neptunian style (Neptune and Sun conjunct on Feb 3 at 15 Aquarius) I am not exactly sure why I am sharing these quotes at this time. This is great practice in leaving the reasons and logic up to the unfolding Great Mystery encouraging us to listen to our inner guidance regardless of what is going on in our external world especially when it doesn’t make rational sense.

White Buffalo Calf Woman reminds us “Creation does not take place where there is a scattering and dissipation of energies. Creation requires a gathering together and focusing of your power within a circle of commitment – like a seed, an egg, a womb or a marriage. If you would create and not destroy, you must remember always the Sacred Hoop. Consider wisely the ways in which you would use your power and then around those ways draw the sacred circle of commitment. In the warm atmosphere of that circle, the power of love builds and builds like a storm above the wet summer prairie until suddenly the circle can hold no more and explodes in the conception of the new.”

Uranus (7 Pisces) conjuncts the Sun on Feb 24

I am delighted, thrilled and most grateful for Rosalind Shorter and her willingness to help me with the Celestial Timings this month. She is also bringing her love of the Dreamspell Calendar to this months timings. The task of writing the Celestial Timings is huge and daunting especially for beginners. Please welcome Rosalind and her beautiful offering of these mysteries.
