ABSTRACT

1st part:

Artificial intelligence is currently limited with the laws of computational theory. Intelligence is defined as capability to adapt to the environment and to solve problems. There is no intelligence without learning. Through learning the intelligence improves and can be objectively measured. Consciousness is, on the other hand, subjective, not objectively identifiable/measurable. Therefore, we can have unconscious but highly intelligent system and conscious system with poor abilities/intelligence. Artificial intelligence can be useful but it can be also abused – the responsibility is on your conscience. The wise teachers from east and west told us that we need both: mind (intelligence) and heart (etics) which probably only together give consciousness. As Albert Einstein(1940) states it: »Science without faith is lame, religion without science is blind.«



2nd part:

Spiritual knowledge from various traditions, eastern and western religions, and most recently by so called New Age, can be viewed as (non-scientific) model of the world, which is consistent with unusual phenomena, which nowadays science is not able to explain. The model includes various levels of existence: materialistic, energetic, emotional, mental, level of intelligence, of love and level of will.  Of course, science is not able to make large steps to include all the phenomena at once. Nowadays, the energetic level is very close to be included into the scientific paradigm. In this paper we overview five phenomena, which were noticed by scientific community but cannot be explained with current scientific knowledge. These phenomena are:

1.       The influence of prayer of healers on patient  health.
2.       Near death experiences.
3.        Presentment of near future.
4.       Telephaty  and telekinesis.
5.       Direct vision.

Predavanje je bilo zelo jasno in pregledno podano, prijetna zmes v pristopu, tako da smo tudi laiki kaj slišal. Se zahvaljujem za povabilo.
